There are indications that the Buhari administration on Tuesday night concluded  the deployment  of  8000 soldiers of  the   Nigerian  Army from different military formations to Rivers State.
1000 out of the 8000 soldiers have been allocated to prominent Rivers APC leaders for sundry activities. Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi got 50 soldiers and an Armored Personnel  Carrier  to move around with  him to polling units  and INEC  election  material distribution centers on Saturday.
Also, 3000 operatives of DSS arrived Rivers State on Tuesday night. The eleven thousand strong security operatives joined 6000 mobile policemen already deployed by Buhari  to the state.

Kulgists gathered that the 17,000 security operatives already on ground are mostly indigenes of the  North East and North  West,  with specific instructions.
Commanders of the Forces had arrived earlier in the day. They accompanied  the  Minister of Transportation to Etche and Gokana  Local Government Areas  where they held meetings  with him on the  issue  of  arrests and detention  of  key PDP  leaders.

It was gathered that the Navy and Air Force will conclude their deployments today.  Warships and Alpha jets will be deployed to  the  state for the re-run elections.
Before the deployment  of   the  military and policemen,  Rivers State  has full Military Brigades, Squadron of mobile police and Command  of  Regular Policemen.

Rivers State is tagged “The Treasure Base of the Nation” and with the recent triumph of the current governor Wike through Supreme Court ruling, the only way to psuh him out of office is for the APC to get a majority in the State House of Assembly.

Time will tell
